Our journey begins in Paris, where you’ll spend two days exploring the City of Light. From the sparkling Eiffel Tower and historic landmarks like the Louvre and Arc de Triomphe, to charming cafes and strolls along the Seine, Paris offers the perfect introduction before heading south to the mountains.
From there, we’ll make our way to Grenoble, the capital of the Alps. Known for its stunning mountain backdrop, Grenoble is a lively city filled with history, culture, and adventure. Highlights include:
A ride up the Bastille Cable Car for sweeping city and mountain views
Exploring the Old Town with its charming squares and markets
Museum visit to admire France’s art and learn about French history and culture
After immersing ourselves in Grenoble, it’s time for the ultimate alpine escape.
🏔️ OVERNIGHT SKI RESORT STAY
You’ll spend a night at a ski resort in the French Alps, with:
Skiing & snowboarding (rentals and lessons included—perfect for beginners or seasoned riders!)
Nighttime snowmobiling across pristine winter landscapes
Two hours of spa bliss with a pool, steam room, sauna, and panoramic views of the Alps

🏞️ ANNECY: VENICE OF THE ALPS
Next, we’ll head to Annecy, often called the “Venice of the Alps.” With its pastel-colored houses, canals, and sparkling lake, it’s one of the most picturesque towns in France. Here we’ll enjoy:
Wandering through the Old Town with its cobbled streets and canals
A visit to the Château d’Annecy overlooking the lake
Free time to shop, taste local cheeses, and soak up the atmosphere
We’ll spend one night in Annecy, giving you time to enjoy both the lively day scenes and the quiet beauty at night.
🌆 A DAY IN LYON
On the way back, we’ll stop for a day trip to Lyon, France’s culinary capital. Think bustling food markets, bouchons (local restaurants), and a mix of Renaissance and modern charm. You’ll taste why Lyon is often considered the gastronomic heart of France before winding down for the evening.
🇨🇭 OPTIONAL 2-DAY GENEVA EXTENSION (SWITZERLAND)
For those who want to add a little Swiss magic, we’re offering an optional two-day extension to Geneva (small additional cost). This side trip will include:
A scenic Lake Geneva cruise
A cable car ride for a beautiful view of the city
Chocolate tasting at a renowned Swiss chocolatier
A charming mini-train ride through the city
Time to explore Geneva’s mix of international culture and old-world charm
After Geneva, we’ll conclude with an overnight in Lyon, making it easy for travelers flying out of the Lyon or Paris airports.
✨ WHY THE TRIP IS STRUCTURED THIS WAY
The trip begins in Paris because it’s an iconic gateway to France, and most travelers dream of experiencing its beauty at least once. From there, we’ll work our way south into the French Alps for the core of the adventure.
Even though we’ll visit multiple cities, the itinerary is not overwhelming. France is a very well-connected country, making it easy to get around by bus and train. Most of the cities on this trip are within 2.5 hours of each other:
Grenoble → Ski Resort: ~1 hour
Grenoble → Annecy: ~2 hours
Lyon → Geneva: ~2.5 hours
This allows us to maximize experiences while keeping travel time comfortable.
